We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.
Freeman Catholic College Bonnyrigg Heights could not operate without the support of a large number of generous and enthusiastic parents who volunteer their time to helping students and staff.
There are a number of volunteer groups that operate in the college. We have a roster of parents who support Freeman in the canteen, uniform store, reading programs, examination supervision, library, the training of our mock trial teams and the transport of sporting teams.
We also have a group of volunteers who give their time and expertise as a member of our college committees. The committees include the Finance Committee, Fundraising Committee and Parent Consultative Committee.
We have a growing number of parents who are able to attend and participate in our celebration days. These include Freeman Day, Walkathon, Honour Roll and the induction of the Student Representative Council and Sports Captains.
