Congratulations to the Freeman Catholic College Bonnyrigg Heights Class of 2023 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results!Β 

Our school was among the top 150 in the state, placing 106th in The Sydney Morning Herald rankings.Β 

We recorded 184 Distinguished Achievers, 11 All Rounders and three Top Achievers, together with a Band 6 rate of 15.7 per cent.Β 

We also had three students place in the top 15 in the course in a state:Β 

  • Dominic Colagiuri -7th, Earth and Environmental Science
  • Chloe Babani – 8th Studies of Religion I
  • Vi Tran – 15th, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education

Four students achieved an ATAR of 99, with the Dux, Jade Covassin. achieving an ATAR of 99.9.

The College also had 17 students achieve an ATAR above 95, and 35 students achieve an ATAR over 90.Β 

Principal Melinda Melham congratulated Year 12 on their fantastic effort and achievements.

SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEMΒ 

Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) has once again achieved outstanding results in the 2023 HSC with nine of its 33 secondary schools ranked among the top 100 high schools in NSW.

A total of 18 schools ranked among the top 150 high schoolsβ€”one more than last yearβ€”strengthening SCS’s position as one of the top performing systems in Australia.

SCS recorded an impressive 2780 Distinguished Achievers, 47 Top Achievers and 67 All Rounders.

Notably, eight SCS students also received HSC First in Course honours.
